Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Eric Shawn Ridge, 23, of Carson City, was arrested at 11:14 p.m. in the 1400 block of North Edmonds Drive Friday on suspicion of gross misdemeanor child endangerment, misdemeanor second-offense drunken driving and misdemeanor failure to use a child safety seat. Ridge's blood-alcohol level was allegedly a .201. Bail was set at $5,107.

• Crystalina Ermelinda Garcia, 26, a student from Carson City, was arrested at 9:45 p.m. Saturday on North Carson Street on suspicion of felony probation violation. No bail was set.

• Rose Varella, 48 from Carson City, was arrested at 6:28 a.m. Saturday on Medical Parkway on suspicion of felony probation violation. No bail was set.

• A 22-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 11:55 p.m. Sunday on Highway 50 East on suspicion of failure to appear. Bail was set at $617.

• A 70-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 10:21 a.m. Sunday in the 1700 block of Southridge Court on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving with a blood-alcohol content of .406. Bail was set at $3,132.

• A 21-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 6:47 p.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of East Fifth Street on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $1,000.

• A 44-year-old Susanville, Calif. woman was arrested at 6:59 p.m. Saturday on Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving. Bail was set at $1,132.

• A 60-year-old Sierra County man was arrested at 11:47 a.m. Monday at Fifth and Curry streets on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to comply, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $4,232.

• A 22-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 6:14 p.m. Monday at Fairview and Desatoya drives on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to comply. Bail was set at $625.

Monday

• A woman reported at 10:45 a.m. that her 90-year-old friend's nephew stole $3 million from her.

• Coroner call at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center at 1:27 p.m.

• Report of both license plates stolen from a vehicle on Jackson Way sometime overnight.

• Report of checks stolen from Eagle Medical Center on North Carson Street sometime overnight and already cashed by 4:37 p.m.

• Report of tires slashed on a vehicle in the 2400 block of Bunch Way at 5:31 p.m.

• A caller reported a white woman was yelling at Hispanic people in front of the laundry room at Camp-N-Town at 7:06 p.m. The reporting party described the yelling woman as wearing a "shirt too ugly to tell the color and she is too fat to tell what color pants." A report was taken.

• Report of several shots heard in the 700 block of Hot Springs Road at 9:56 p.m. Deputies were trying to determine if the sound was gunfire or fireworks.

• A man on Tiger Drive reported his ex-girlfriend damaged his things and left a threatening note at 11:16 p.m.

Sunday

• Report of a vehicle striking a fence on Minonee Lane then fleeing the scene at 9:49 a.m.

• Coroner call on Columbia Way at 11:24 a.m.

• Coroner call at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center at 3:55 p.m.

• A man on North Curry Street reported at 5:19 p.m. that he met a prostitute, brought her home and she took off in his gray 1987 Ford F150 pickup.

• Report of an accident involving a motorcycle and an SUV at Timberline and Westwood drives at 8:29 p.m.

Saturday

• Two juveniles were cited for shoplifting $20 in merchandise from Save Mart on Highway 50 East.

• Report of neighbors arguing on Woodside Drive at 10:22 p.m.

• Report of an intoxicated man arrested at Save Mart on Highway 50 East for shoplifting alcohol at 9:35 p.m. When police were en route, the man threatened to attack people with a knife, then he vomited.

• Fight report on Telegraph Street at 10:39 p.m.

Friday

• Graffiti reports on Woodside, Pheasant and Fairview Drives.

• Six vehicle burglary reports on Spring Drive, Etta Place, Chimney Drive and Highway 50 East.

• Report of 20 or more people loitering in the park on Rawles Drive in Fernley at 1:18 a.m.

• Report of a car trailer stolen from Gas Line Road in Fernley sometime before 9:22 a.m.

• A Mound House woman reported at 7:13 p.m. her husband went to the river to get a disabled vehicle around noon, and hadn't yet returned. A report was taken.

• Report at 7:40 p.m. of a boat stolen from the 2400 block of Tonopah Street.
