Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• Justine Sheline, 20, a cook from La Grande, Ore., was brought to the Carson City Jail at midnight Wednesday by an extradition officer on a gross misdemeanor warrant for probation violation. No bail was set.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:
• A compressor was stolen from the 100 block of Riparian Way sometime before 7:34 a.m.
• Report of an elderly man shoved to the ground on Fairview Drive at 11:52 a.m. The person who shoved the man called police and waited for officers to arrive. A report was taken.
• A $500 bicycle was taken from the 2000 block of North Carson Street sometime before 6:04 p.m.
• A father reported at 6:15 p.m. that his 16-year-old son was battered at the basketball courts at the community center.
Lyon County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:
• Report of a gun stolen from a vehicle on Brook Lane in Fernley at 2:16 p.m.
• Report of graffiti on the V&T right of way in Mound House.
• A woman on Yellowjacket Road reported a pit bull attacked her and her little dog at 5:50 p.m. in Mark Twain.
Storey County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:
• Arrest on Waltham Way at 8:59 a.m.
• A baby sitter reported finding dog bites on the child she watches. She said this was the second time she'd seen the child with dog bites.
• Arrest at Storey County Sheriff's Office at 3:38 p.m.
• Arrest on State Route 341 one mile south of Lousetown Road at 5:37 p.m.
