130 YEARS AGO

A Nuisance: A creature in the shape of a man is getting to be an intolerable nuisance. He is filthy with vermin, and seats himself in most every chair that happens to stand on the sidewalk. Decent and clean men unsuspectingly occupy these seats. Can not something be done to compel this fellow to keep clean. His appearance indicates the fact that he has a long while been a stranger to water, soap, brush and comb.
