RENO (AP) - The Bureau of Land Management is proposing to sell 320 acres of federally owned land in Fernley to operators of the Fernley airport.

The BLM says Richard and Judy Cable, through their company, Toybox Enterprises, Inc., hold a public airport lease, and that selling the property to someone else could cause their business substantial economic loss.

Officials say the property has been appraised at $450,000, and the BLM will accept public comment on the sale proposal until July 22.
