Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• Michael Patrick Martensen, 20, a retail employee from Reno, was arrested at 6:39 a.m. Monday at Sage Street and Hot Springs Road on suspicion of gross misdemeanor malicious destruction of property, misdemeanor minor consuming alcohol, driving with an open container of alcohol in the vehicle and using false identification. Bail was set at $3,160.
• Nickolas Albert Quilici, 29, a welder from Minden, was arrested at 5:49 p.m. Friday in the 2800 block of San Jose Court in Minden on a Carson City warrant for suspicion of felony home invasion, misdemeanor battery and misdemeanor harassment. Bail was set at $15,000.
• Daniel Bruce Magner, 23, a laborer from Gardnerville, was arrested at 2:35 p.m. Friday in the 1400 block of Edelsborough Drive in Minden on a Carson City warrant for suspicion of felony sale of a controlled substance, grand larceny and obtaining money under false pretenses. Bail was set at $10,000.

Monday
• Coroner call on Zephyr Circle at 2:36 p.m.
• A husband reported at 3:05 p.m. that his wife was in her vehicle an hour before near Governor's Field when a man reached into her car window, grabbed her wrists, threatened her, took items out of the vehicle and ran off. The man is described as 19 years old, very thin, 6-feet-6 with short brown hair. He was wearing blue jeans, no shirt and a black baseball cap pulled low over his eyes.
• Report of video games stolen from a home on Monte Rosa Drive sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Sunday
• A vehicle struck a pedestrian at Musser and Roop streets at 10:36 a.m.
• A man brought a wallet to the front counter of the Sheriff's Department he found containing money at 3:48 p.m.
• Report of several windows broken out on a vehicle in the parking lot at the juvenile detention center at Saliman Road and Fifth Street.
• A woman reported at 8:23 p.m. that she left her wallet in a shopping cart at Save Mart on North Carson Street and when she returned it was gone.
• A man was detained at Safeway for shoplifting at 8:28 p.m.
Lyon County

Monday
• Vehicle burglary report on Mary Lou Lane in Fernley at 12:21 a.m.
• Arrest on Highway 95 Alternate at Fir Street in Silver Springs at 2:01 a.m.
• Commercial burglary on Financial Way in Fernley at 9 a.m.
• A purse and other items were stolen from a vehicle at Out of Town Park in Fernley at 7:43 p.m.
• Arrest on Highway 95 Alternate and Nevin Way in Mason Valley at 8:48 p.m.
Sunday
• Arrest on Vine Street in Fernley at 12:08 a.m.
• Arrest on Highway 339 in Mason Valley at 12:34 a.m.
• Report of an intoxicated female passed out inside a truck "that reeks of alcohol" in a ditch on Shirlee Avenue in Silver Springs at 10:14 a.m.
Storey County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:
• A bicyclist reported at 11:06 a.m. that he was hit by a vehicle that then left the scene on State Route 341.
• A report of three horses escaping from a yard on Delta Drive at 1 p.m.
• A caller at 8:37 p.m. reported "that animals are being abused in the area and puppies are screaming" at South B and Sutton streets.
