Karl Rove, former senior adviser to George W. Bush, will deliver the keynote address at the Nevada Policy Research Institute's 18th anniversary meeting.
The event is scheduled for Sept. 23 at the Venetian Hotel-Casino in Las Vegas.
Rove was the chief strategist behind Bush's two presidential campaigns and served as deputy chief of staff during his eight years in the White House.
NPRI President Sharon Rossie described Rove as "one of today's most interesting and insightful commentators on politics and public policy."
Rove is currently a columnist for the Wall Street Journal and Newsweek as well as a contributor to Fox News.
Previous keynote speakers at the annual dinner include former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, Col. Oliver North and Michael Reagan.
