Smith and Temple plan July wedding

Connie Huffmire and Benn Smith of Reno announce the engagement of their daughter Kira Smith to Kaleb Temple. The bride-to-be is a 2000 graduate of McQueen High School, Reno. She graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Education and received a MATE in Writing in 2008. Kira is employed at McQueen High School teaching English Language Arts.

The groom is the son of Sharon and Craig Wooding of Carson City. He is a 2001 graduate of Carson High School. He has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art from the University of Nevada, Reno. He is employed by the Nevada Museum of Art, Reno and is a freelance artist and technician for film companies.

The couple plan a July 31, 2009, wedding at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Reno. The groom's mother, Sharon Wooding will officiate.
