"Bordy" is married. Arthur W. Bordewich and Miss Agnes Cutts were married this morning and left for Lake Tahoe. Bordewich is well known in this city and is the press superintendent of the state printing office. "Bordy" refused to stand for rice and old shoes at the train this evening. They are off for as far as Mexico before they return to this city.

The Nevada Diamond Jubilee Commission, through memoranda issued by Thomas C. Wilson, secretary, has specified uses for which funds will be allotted for observance of Nevada's 75th anniversary of admission to statehood.

An official piece of "missile mail" has been received by Gov. Grant Sawyer. The letter, containing a message from Postmaster Gen. Arthur E. Summerfield, was aboard the Regulus I rocket fired recently from the USS Barbero. In his message to Sawyer, Summerfield said the event was "a milestone in the use of guided missiles for communicating between peoples of the earth." It was the first time rockets have been used to transport U.S. Mails.

Nugget co-owner Howard Adams, who has owned the Nugget Casino with his brother Hop since 1957, died Thursday in Idaho. He was 90.
• Trent Dolan is the son of Bill Dolan, who wrote this column for the Nevada Appeal from 1947 until his death in 2006.
