Lake Tahoe Christian Fellowship's Transformation Center hosts a four week DVD series by Carolyn Leaf, Ph.D., "God's Plan for Achieving Emotional Wholeness", 7-8 p.m., Wednesday, June 24, July 1, 8 and 15. The class is offered free of charge.

A Christian Music and Drama Camp will be offered starting Monday at 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at First Baptist Church

The free five-day camp is open to youths ages 13-21 who love to act, sing and dance. Participants will perform at 7 p.m. Friday.

The Interfaith Clergy of Carson City and Reno are sponsoring the first Heal the World Picnic in Carson City beginning at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, June 28 at Mills Park Pavillions B and C.

The picnic is designed to bring together people of different faiths, cultures and nationalities to celebrate, appreciate and respect their differences.

St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Community will host two week-long vacation Bible school sessions, one in the morning and one in the evening. Sonshine Summer Vacation Bible School explores "God's Word" for children grades kindergarten through fifth. It will be 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. June 22-26; and 5:30-8:30 p.m. July 20-24.
