A $1,000 reward is being offered for the safe return of a Shih Tzu that went missing from Fuji Park last week.
Owner Sandy Castor of Indian Hills said she is desperate for the return of Willi, a 9-year-old black and white Shih Tzu that disappeared Thursday from the south Carson City park where he made daily visits with Castor's husband, Jim.
"I feel so positive someone will come forward," Sandy Castor said.
"Money gets people's attention."
Castor said there will be no questions asked and the person who has Willi can drop him off at a designated location to receive the reward.
She said Willi also needs medication for his eyesight or he will go blind.
Anyone with information on Willi's whereabouts is asked to contact the Castor family at JHC0724@clearwire.net, Sandy0511@clearwire.net or by calling the Nevada Appeal at 881-1213.
