LAS VEGAS (AP) - Nellis Air Force Base is gaining fighter aircraft and adding more than 300 personnel.
A U.S. Air Force announcement released Friday says the base just outside Las Vegas will add eight F-15 primary aircraft and two F-16s to help teach fighter pilots.
Spokeswoman Jen Richard says the aircraft play the aggressors in war training exercises.
Richard says the base will increase its military staff by 267 and will add 62 civilian positions in fiscal year 2010.
