Carson City


The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- A 27-year-old real estate stock broker was arrested at 8:37 p.m. Tuesday in the 4300 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving, failure to maintain a lane and no insurance. Bail was set at $1,981.

- Jorge Gomez-Dominguez, 35, a construction worker from Carson City, was arrested at 3:33 p.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of Hot Springs Road on suspicion of felony burglary and misdemeanor battery. He allegedly broke into his ex-wife's boyfriend's house and assaulted the boyfriend. Bail was set at $26,132.

- Gina Jones, 56, from Carson City, was arrested at 6:24 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony uttering a forged instrument. Bail was set at $7,500.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

- Report of a man and woman attempting to burglarize cars in the 2700 block of South Carson Street at 2:50 a.m.

- A newspaper delivery person reported being battered by a known person at 2:56 a.m.

- Report of an unauthorized charge to a bank account at 12:27 p.m.

- Report of a man with a fake ID in a Carson Street casino at 1:40 p.m.

- Fight report in the 2900 block of Menlo Drive at 3:19 p.m.

- Residential burglary report where someone entered through a screen door on Gold Hill Road at 4:15 p.m.

- A woman reported someone staying with her stole $300 at 6:55 p.m.
