Fly fishing class
Where: Angler's Edge, 1506 Highway 395, Gardnerville
Angler's Edge hosts a 6-week Fly Fishing class, 6 p.m., Tuesday, March 17,
1506 Highway 395, Gardnerville. This classroom instruction is taught by
professional fly fishing guides, Don & Liz Weirauch. Learn casting and its
mechanics, knots, bugs of the area, matching the hatch, how to read water,
the gear and proper catch and release techniques. The class size is limited
to eight students, so individual attention can be given when needed. Cost is
$125; equipment is provided at no extra cost for those who do not have fly
rods. For reservations and information, call 784-4734.
