Scholarships for women pilots

The Reno High Sierra 99s offers two scholarships for women who are student pilots and licenses pilots. A $2,000 scholarship is offered for a female student pilot who has soloed on or before April 30. A $3,000 scholarship is offered for a female licensed pilot seeking an advanced rating. Applications must be received by Thursday, April 30. Federal employees to meet

National Active and Retired Federal Employees Chapter 1329 will meet, Tuesday, March 17 at Grandma Hattie's, 2811 S. Carson St. An optional lunch will be at 11:15 a.m.; business meeting follows at 12:15 p.m.

Harpist to perform at BAC today

Grammy-nominated, harpist Deborah Henson-Conant will perform tonight at the Brewery Arts Center, 449 W. King St., at 7:30 p.m.
