Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- Brian Hofius-Ward, 23, a promoter from Carson City, was arrested at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday in the 1900 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony probation violation and misdemeanor failure to appear. No bail was set.

- Dale Walters, 45, a landscaper from Carson City, was arrested at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the 900 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of felony open and gross lewdness. Bail was set at $5,000.

- Amy Lobretto, 21, a home care provider from Carson City, was arrested at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of West Hampton Drive on suspicion of felony grand larceny. She allegedly stole family heirlooms from her boyfriend's mother to support a drug habit. Bail was set at $25,000.

- Jose Jesus Elizondo Jr., 20, was arrested at 11:32 p.m. Wednesday at Long Street and Saliman Road on suspicion of misdemeanor criminal contempt and probation violation. Bail was set at $3,500.

- Saul Montez, 22, a landscaper from Carson City, was arrested at 9:25 p.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of Woodside Drive on suspicion of possession of cocaine. Bail was set at $2,500.

- A 28-year-old nursing student was arrested at 3:04 a.m. Thursday in the 1600 block of Medical Parkway on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving and failure to use due care. She allegedly rolled her vehicle on Nye Lane just west of Panamint Drive at 1:22 a.m.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

- Report of arrest for possession of a controlled substance at Carson High School at 10:54 a.m.

- Report at 1:37 p.m. of an elementary school student with bruising on the face possibly caused by his mother.

- Residential burglary report in the Frontier Mobile Home park at 2:24 p.m.

- Embezzlement burglary report in 1000 block of Mountain Street at 2:32 p.m.

- A state welfare employee reported being threatened at 3:16 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

- A caller in Silver Springs reported the hose from the washer came off, sprayed water onto an electrical outlet, which caused sparks to shoot out at 12:49 a.m.

- Misdemeanor arrest on East Newlands Drive in Fernley at 3:12 a.m.

- Report of a storage container at the Fernley Water Treatment Plant broken into sometime during the night.

- A Silver Springs school bus driver reported she was threatened by a parent at 7:54 a.m.

- Felony arrest at Dayton Justice Court of a man who allegedly intimidated a witness.

- Report of juveniles "huffing" freon from a cooling system on Willow Way at 6:51 p.m.
