Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- A 25-year-old business owner from Carson City was arrested at 11:30 p.m. Monday at Carson and Fourth streets on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear on a traffic citation. Bail was set at $167.

The following people were picked up Monday night at the Washoe County Jail and brought to Carson City on charges here:

- A 25-year-old unemployed Sparks man on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $3,217.

- A 45-year-old unemployed Reno man on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear on a traffic citation. Bail was set at $939.

- A 54-year-old Reno man on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear on a traffic citation. Bail was set at $799.

- A 19-year-old construction worker from Reno on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence on a drug charge. Bail was set at $3,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

- Coroner call in the 3000 block of North Ormsby Boulevard at 6:10 a.m.

- Coroner call in the 3000 block of North Ormsby Boulevard at 8:50 a.m.

- A woman reported at 10:01 a.m. her boyfriend battered her then locked her in the closet overnight.

- Report of a 21-year-old selling magazines door to door without a license. The man was warned against the practice by a deputy.

- Report of auto repair manuals stolen from a repair shop in the 1600 block of Fairview Drive.


Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

- A light blue Honda Civic was reported stolen from the 1000 block of Pepper Lane in Fernley at 6:26 a.m.

- Coroner call on La Buena Vista Lane in Mason Valley at 1:31 p.m.

- Felony immigration arrest on Woodlake Circle in Dayton at 3:29 p.m.

- Misdemeanor arrest on Aspen Street in Silver Springs at 8:22 p.m.


Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

- Hit-and-run accident report on North E Street at 9:27 a.m.

- Report of a brown and white bulldog found on Sam Clemens Avenue at 10:02 a.m.
