Geurink, Mack to marry

Kelly Geurink and Paul Mack have announced their engagement.

Kelly is the daughter of Terry and Kathy Geurink of Granite Schoals, Texas. She is a 1998 graduate of Churchill High School in San Antonio, Texas, received a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Texas, Austin, and a master's degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Texas, Medical Branch in 2002. Kelly is a physicians assistant at a pain management clinic in San Diego, Calif.

Paul is the son of Lloyd and Doreen Mack of Carson City. He is a 2000 graduate of Carson High School, a 2007 graduate of the U.S. Coast Guard, Grossmont, and a 2009 graduate of San Diego State University with a degree in international security and conflict resolution. Paul is an intern with the State Department Office of Weapons of Mass Destruction and Terrorism in Washington, D.C.

Kelly and Paul plan to marry Sept. 19 at Edgewood Tahoe with the Rev. Frank Fahj of St. Theresa's of Lake Tahoe to officiate.
