CARSON CITY

The lunch menu for the Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Dr.:

Monday: Dill baked cod, scalloped potatoes, Brussels sprouts, bananas in orange juice, whole wheat roll with margarine.

Tuesday: Baked chicken, one-half baked potato with sour cream, veggie soup, crackers, pears.

Wednesday: Pulled pork sandwich, baked beans, baby carrots, Waldorf salad.

Thursday: Stuffed peppers, linguini, tomato-basil soup, applesauce, garlic bread.

Friday: Chicken with mushroom sauce, wild rice, veggie medley, cherry Jell-O with peaches, cake and ice cream.


DAYTON

The lunch menu for the Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road:

Monday: Spaghetti with meat sauce, cauliflower, garlic bread, fruit, pie.

Tuesday: Swiss burger, broccoli and cauliflower, fries, spiced pears, brownie.

Wednesday: Barbecue chicken, baked beans, broccoli, roll, apricots, vanilla pudding.

Thursday: Roast beef, red potatoes, mixed vegetables, garden salad, peaches, gingerbread.

Friday: Blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, V8 and orange juice.


DOUGLAS COUNTY

The lunch menu for the Douglas County Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane, Gardnerville:

Monday: Italian beef bake, peas and carrots, spinach salad, frozen vanilla and strawberry yogurt, cranberry apple juice.

Tuesday: Tomato soup, tuna salad sandwich with lettuce and tomato, orange wedges, apple-cinnamon muffin.

Wednesday: Apple-topped pork chop, baked sweet potato, lettuce and tomato salad with French dressing, wheat bread with butter, rice crispy treat.

Thursday: Chicken with onions, black bean and roasted pepper salad, roasted vegetables, spiced peach cup, ice cream sandwiches.

Friday: Beef stroganoff over noodles, mixed green salad, seasoned veggies, apricots, dinner roll, cookies.


SILVER SPRINGS

The dinner menu for the Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Ave.:

Monday: Macaroni and cheese, ham slices, veggie salad, roll, raspberry and cranberry salad.

Tuesday: Spud stuffer with ground beef and cheese, beets, peaches, fruit crisp.

Wednesday: Spaghetti w/meat sauce, garlic bread, sauteed zucchini, applesauce.

Thursday: Pork fajitas, tortilla, onions, peppers, rice, zucchini, caramel custard.

Friday: French toast, bacon, mixed fruit, orange juice.


STOREY COUNTY

The Storey County Senior Citizens Center is located on the corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City:

Monday: Chicken ala king on rice, 3-bean salad.

Tuesday: Tacos, refried beans, rice, melon salad.

Wednesday: Roast beef, twice baked potatoes, vegetables.

Thursday: Lasagna, garlic bread, green salad, fruit salad.

Friday: Corned beef on rye, coleslaw, pea soup.


YERINGTON

The Yerington Senior Center is at 117 Tilson Way:

Monday: Chicken, mashed potatoes with country gravy, broccoli, carrot-raisin salad, bread, tapioca pudding.

Tuesday: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes with gravy, frozen veggies, green salad, bread, fruit dish.

Wednesday: Spaghetti, garden salad, squash, banana bread.

Thursday: Pork roast with gravy, buttered noodles, applesauce, fruit salad, ice cream.

Friday: Lima beans and ham, carrot medley, cornbread, cook's choice dessert.


FERNLEY

Lunch is served on weekdays at Fernley Center, 1170 W. Newlands Dr.:

Monday: Baked stuffed pork chop, mixed veggies, baked beans, whole wheat roll with margarine, pineapple chunks.

Tuesday: Beef vegetable soup, Mexican corn, pie, mixed green salad with French dressing, orange.

Wednesday: Tamale beef pie, vegetable soup, mixed greens salad, French dressing, fresh orange.

Thursday: Chicken and dumplings, broccoli, peaches, gingerbread cake with Cool Whip.

Friday: Black bean soup, broccoli cheese strata, garden salad, French dressing, banana, orange juice.
