The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
- Michael Irwin, 22, of Carson City, was arrested Friday evening in the 3400 block of Imperial Way on felony charges of lewdness with a minor under 14 and statutory sexual seduction. A warrant was issued for Irwin's arrest, and he was taken into custody at his residence. Bail was set at $25,000.
- Kayla Deann Dean, 19, of Dayton, was arrested Saturday afternoon in the 400 block of Hot Springs Road for felony possession of another person's credit card and obtaining money under false pretenses, as well as three misdemeanor failure-to-appear warrants. The victim notified authorities after noticing multiple charges on her credit card after dropping off clothes at a thrift store. She suspected that a credit card might have been left in the pocket of one of the items left at the store. Dean and two other employees of the store all denied seeing the credit card. Surveillance video from one of the stores the card was used at showed a woman that looked like Dean. After she was arrested, Dean admitted to using the card for two purchases, but not the others. She was also found to have three outstanding warrants. Her bail was set at $25,000.
- Kimberly Ann Green, 48, was arrested Friday evening at the Carson City Jail on felony charges of being a fugitive from justice from El Dorado County, Calif. Green was at the jail to place money on an inmate's commissary account, and a deputy recognized her as someone who was wanted in California. Bail was set at $50,000.
- A 20-year-old student from Carson City was arrested Saturday afternoon in the 3200 block of Market Street for misdemeanor trespassing and violating the terms of alternative sentencing. Subject entered a store where she had previously been arrested for shoplifting. Store security took her into custody. Bail was set at $3,237.
- A 25-year-old landscaper from Carson City was arrested Saturday morning in the 800 block of North Carson Street on a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant. A complaint about noise in a motel room led the officer to the subject who had an outstanding warrant. Bail was set at $287.
- A 27-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Saturday morning in the 600 block of Roop Street on a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant. Responding to a domestic dispute, the subject was found to have an outstanding warrant. Bail was set at $500.
- A 23-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday night in the 2100 block of North Carson Street for misdemeanor probation violation. Man was found loitering near a closed business. A records check showed the man was on probation with a no-alcohol condition. A preliminary breath test showed a blood alcohol level of .20. Bail was set at $3,000.
