INCLINE VILLAGE " Beginning on Monday, State Route 28 will have single-lane traffic control to allow workers to install about 3,500 linear feet of pipe from Sand Harbor to the Incline Village General Improvement District's Spooner Lift Station.

Brad Johnson, Incline Village General Improvement District's engineering manager, said the road will be limited to one lane for two to three weeks.

It should only cause delays of a few minutes for motorists, he said.

The second phase of the project is expected to coincide with the Nevada Department of Transportation's $2.2 million resurfacing project on State Route 28, scheduled for May 3 through 22.

During the second phase, a 3- to 4-mile stretch of road east from Sand Harbor to the Carson City County line will be completely shut down to motorists from 7 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Friday for three weeks.
