Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
- Chong Suk Wroblewski, 56, of Carson City, was arrested Friday afternoon in the 500 block of North Carson Street on a felony charge of forgery. The suspect is accused of cashing a counterfeit check for $3,200 at a local casino. Bail was set at $7,500.
- A 24-year-old Carson City man, a 27-year-old Markleeville man and a 33-year-old Dayton man all were arrested Saturday morning in the 3400 block of Highway 50 East for misdemeanor interfering with a police officer. The men were fighting outside a bar and failed to heed the officer's directions. The officer used a Taser on one suspect, which led the other two to start cooperating. Bail for each suspect was set at $1,132. In addition, officers arrested a 39-year-old Sparks man on warrant for violating a suspended sentence. His bail was set at $1,000. Officers also found a 26-year-old Carson City man hiding under a tree. A records check found that he was in violation of a suspended sentence. He also was charged with misdemeanor obstruction for failing to cooperate with officers. His bail was set at $1,407.
- A 45-year-old car painter from Minden was arrested Saturday morning at the corner of Roop and Washington streets for after leading officers on a high-speed chase through neighborhood streets in that area. He was charged with misdemeanor eluding, reckless driving, resisting arrest, driving on suspend registration and probation violation. Bail was set for $4,823.
- A 27-year-old Carson City man was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant for violating a suspended sentence, and for resisting arrest. The subject and another friend were stopped for trespassing on private property. A records check found an outstanding warrant for the subject's arrest. The subject then ran from officers on foot until apprehended with the help of a K-9 officer. Bail was set at $1,347.
- A 25-year-old sales manager from Minden was arrested Friday morning at the corner of Arrowhead Drive and North Carson Street on a misdemeanor warrant for violating a suspended sentence. A motorcyclist reported someone in a car pointed a gun at him during a traffic altercation. A vehicle matching the description of the car was found, and records check revealed an outstanding warrant for one of the occupants. Bail was set at $3,000.
