RENO " A Reno man is facing up to life in prison after a jury found him guilty of lewdness and sexually assaulting a young girl.
Salome Martinez, 47, was convicted by a jury on Friday.
Deputy District Attorney Steve Barker says the assault occurred in November 2006 when the 7-year-old girl went to the Martinez home to play with his granddaughter.
Martinez faces life in prison with possible parole after 20 years on the sexual assault charge, and another life term with possible parole after 10 years for lewdness with a child.
Washoe District Judge Patrick Flanagan set sentencing for May 27.
