Betty Joy Zoellner, 68, a Carson City resident died March 31, 2009. Mrs. Zoellner was born June 1, 1940 to John Edward and Elsie Kankelfitz in Merrill, Wis. She was preceded in death by her son Rick, parents and brother Jim. Among her survivors are children Thor Zoellner of Carson City, Terri Blokzyl of Bullhead City, Ariz., Candy Rolling of Las Vegas, and Jim Zoellner of La Mirada, Calif.; sister June Handschke of Muskego, Wis.; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and two nieces. Autumn Funerals & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
