Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
- A 62-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 1:14 p.m. in the 1400 block of Rand Avenue on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence of drugs. Bail was set at $1,132.
- Victoria Julia Villar, 32, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 1:17 p.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of Janas Way on suspicion of felony residential burglary. She allegedly was spotted running out of a home on Spartan Avenue that she'd burglarized, according to the police report. Bail was set at $25,000.
- A 58-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 8:32 p.m. in the 4100 block of Lepire Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor resisting a peace officer and drunken driving. Bail was set at $1,479.
- Toby John Russell, 32, of Carson City, was arrested at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday on a warrant charging him with failing to register as a sex offender. Bail was set at $20,000.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:
- Coroner call in the 2400 block of Chardonnay Drive at 7:13 p.m.
- Coroner call in the 1700 block of North Carson Street at 10:01 a.m.
- A caller reported finding his stolen motorcycle parked on North Carson Street at 3:31 p.m.
- Report of $500 missing from an apartment on Airport Road at 4:01 p.m.
Lyon County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:
- Misdemeanor arrest on Highway 50 East in Dayton at 4:38 a.m.
- Commercial burglary report on East Newlands Drive in Fernley at 6:53 a.m.
- A woman reported at 7:29 a.m. that $15,000 in jewelry was stolen from her Panavista Circle home in Mason Valley on Easter Sunday.
- Report at 9:02 a.m. of two students detained in the principal's office at Silver Stage High School for selling "a large quantity of white pills."
- Residential burglary report on Ranch Road in Fernley at 2:47 p.m.
- Misdemeanor arrest on Fortune Drive in Dayton at 5:41 p.m.
- Felony arrest at Wal-Mart in Fernley at 4:26 p.m.
