LAS VEGAS (AP) " Health officials in Las Vegas say seven more people have tested positive for the swine flu virus. That brings the number of confirmed cases in Nevada to 16.
Southern Nevada Health District officials say the new cases were confirmed either by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta or the state's public health lab in Reno.
Officials say the five children and two adults have recovered. None was hospitalized.
The cases disclosed Monday include a 4-year-old girl, a 12-year-old girl, a 13-year-old boy and two 16-year-old boys.
The health district also says a 24-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman each had a mild form of the flu.
Officials say seven samples are still being tested " six in Clark County and one in Washoe County.
