Nancy Miller Sprague, 78, a Gardnerville resident died May 9, 2009. She was born Feb. 2, 1931 to Francis Stinespring and Virginia (Heneberger) Miller in Kansas City, Kans. She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. William Lindley Sprague. Among her survivors are children Lindley V. Sprague of Randolph, Mass., W. "Warren" Sprague of Long Beach, Calif., Elizabeth B. Cook of Gardnerville, Carol Sprague-Weston of Portland, Ore., and Anne S. Culpon of Helena, Mont.; sister Carol Williams of West Jefferson, N.C., none grandchildren, one niece and two nephews.
