LAS VEGAS (AP) " Health officials in Las Vegas say four more school-age children and one adult tested positive for swine flu virus, bringing the number of confirmed cases in Nevada to 21.
The Southern Nevada Health District said Wednesday that a 5-year-old girl; boys ages 7, 10, and 14, and a 45-year-old woman each had a mild form of the H1N1 virus. Three have fully recovered. None required hospitalization.
Clark County school spokesman Michael Rodriguez says letters are going out to parents of students at two elementary and one middle school about the test results. He says there are no plans to close any schools.
Health officials previously reported nine swine flu cases in Clark County, four in Reno, two in Carson City and one in Lyon County.
