An unfriendly caller " At a comparatively early hour, while this office was temporarily occupied by a single, weak compositor, an individual, wearing a white linen coat, which has long been sighing for the proximity of a washtub, and his face adorned with incipient side whiskers, called, in a very excited frame of mind. Fire flashed from his eyes and nostrils and he came near frightening the weak compositor to death with his deep stentorian voice. He strutted about the office for a few moments and then left, looking for all the world as if he would really like to build a French roof on the head of the absent local editor.
