Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
- Brian Duncan, 19, an unemployed transient, was arrested at 11 a.m. Thursday in the 900 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of felony grand larceny. Bail was set at $5,000.
- A 33-year-old drywall installer from Carson City was arrested at 11:33 a.m. Friday in the 1500 block of Edmonds Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a restraining order. Bail was set $3,132.
- A 41-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 10:02 p.m. Thursday in the 1400 block of North Edmonds Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor second-offense drunken driving, driving on a suspended license, obstructing an investigation, and a head light violation. Bail was set at $4,238.
- A 33-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 4:40 a.m. Friday on Highway 50 East in front of Mills Park on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving. Bail was set at $1,132.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:
- Coroner call in the 1700 block of Snyder Avenue at 2:02 a.m.
- Coroner call in the 4200 block of South Edmonds Drive at 9:28 a.m.
- Embezzlement report on Old Hot Springs Road at 10:23 a.m.
- Report of a vehicle striking a person in a wheelchair and leaving the scene at 12:35 p.m. in the 1800 block of North Carson Street. The victim sustained minor injuries.
- Report of a vehicle on Silver Oak Drive "egged" sometime before 1:45 p.m.
- Report of a 71-year-old man threatening his wife and 8-year-old grandson on Valley View Drive at 6:59 p.m.
Lyon County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:
- Coroner call at 2:37 a.m. on Truck Inn Way in Fernley.
- Felony arrest on North Main Street at 5:51 a.m.
- Report of an intoxicated student in possession of alcohol at Fernley High School at 9:31 a.m.
- Report of a car full of kids driving on the airport runway, nearly running a plane off the runway at 12:39 p.m.
