Live life with purpose

Some days I become so overwhelmed with life that I think I can't do one more thing; I stop everything sit right down and let myself sink into that poor me state of thinking, where I begin to wonder why my life is so messed up. What would it be like to run away and go live in a cabin away from everyone, and do nothing? I mean nothing!

Then I reel myself in and remember what the word says about nothing. Proverbs: 24:30-34 says, "I went by the field of the lazy man and by the vineyard of the man devoid of understanding, and there it was all overgrown with thorns, its surface was covered with nettles; its stone wall was broken down. When I saw it, I considered it well; I looked on it and received instruction; A little sleep a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest, so shall your poverty come like a prowler - and Proverbs: 28 says, whoever has no rule over his own spirit is like a city broken down without walls."

In biblical times if a city had walls, it had security with a sense of community without walls we are defenseless, and exposed. We become more susceptible to attacks and when temptation strikes, we have very little on our side to fight with. Our walls only become weak and start to crumble when we are idle. Laziness allows everything in our lives to get overgrown or broken down.

I know I need to stay on course. Proverbs 4 :25-27 says, "let your eyes look right on (with fixed purpose ) and let your gaze be straight before you. Consider the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established and ordered aright. Turn not aside to the right hand or to the left; remove your foot from evil."

God will help us with anything in our lives that has become overgrown or broken down.

Jesus had a purpose, He disciplined himself to stay on course, living his life to fulfill that purpose for which He came. We to need to stay on course, God has a purpose for our lives and He gives us direction as we put our trust in Him. We need to set our ways to follow God from this day forth. Guard against the spirit of laziness.

Do whatever God has been telling us to do, and get rid of that procrastination, never give up on anything God has told us to believe for, or never quit anything he has clearly shown us to do. Our diligence will pay off, with a blessing from God. God will take this life we think is all messed up and He will turn our mess into a message.
