Deterding accepted into NSCS
Stephen M. Deterding of Carson City has accepted membership in The National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Deterding will be honored during an induction convocation this fall on the campus of Marshall University.
NSCS is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies and is the nation's only interdisciplinary honors organization for first and second year college students. Membership is by invitation only, based on grade point average and class standing.
Harvey graduates from Indiana
Christina Danielle Harvey of Carson City, recently graduated from Indiana University, Bloomington, Ind.
She received a master of fine arts degree.
Two graduate from Azusa Pacific
Two area residents graduated May 9 from Azusa Pacific University, a comprehensive, evangelical, Christian university located 26-miles northeast of Los Angeles. Carson City resident Amanda Kay Fleming graduated from Azusa Pacifica University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Yerington resident Aaron Russel Colletta graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema and Broadcast Arts.
