The Magnolia. Mr. J. R. Scott, known in this city for his straight forward business way, opens the "Magnolia" saloon in the County Building, stocking liquors, wines, cigars, etc. The best ever brought to this city.

The Carson Athletic Club won as Washoe was outclassed and beaten. The line-up for Carson: Louise Woodbury, Hazel and Ethel Hofer, Clara Crisler, Annie Kitzmeyer, Lucy Davis. Both sides as they marched to place carried themselves with that unmistakable air assumed by people who think they own the earth. The Carson players wore blue bloomers and green shirt waists. Miss Josie Roberts acted as referee.

George Gessler sells the Sky-Vue drive-in to the Carson City Theatre Corp. Chuck Leonard to assume control. The transaction to include the lease of the historic V&T train which the theater company leases from the Chamber of Commerce, its owner.
