The Carson City Board of Supervisors will meet today. The board is scheduled to look at items including:
- A city staff recommendation to revoke the liquor licenses of Tip Top Market and Discount Liquor, 1501 Fairview Drive #7, and CR Gas, 4340 N. Carson St., for failure to pay liquor license fees.
- A joint-use agreement between the city and Bodines Casino to manage a parking lot between the casino and the Carson City Fairgrounds at Fuji Park. Mike Pegram, Bodines owner, is offering about $117,000 to pay for the remaining amount due on the parking lot.
- A $538,000 federal stimulus grant to install solar panels on several city buildings. The city expects to recover the cost of the solar panels through energy savings in nine years.
- Applications for $356,200 available in grants to nonprofit groups in the city. Applications have been filed by 19 groups.
