Carson Advocates for Cancer Care have moved their thrift store, Cared 4 Seconds, to 1801 E. Highway 50 E. Hours for the store are noon-5:30 p.m., Tuesdays; 1-5 p.m., Wednesdays; 10:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays; 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturdays. The shop is closed Sunday and Monday. Proceeds from sales provide financial assistance and support for cancer patients in Northern Nevada. Donations of gently used clothing and small household appliances are accepted.
