Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
- A 37-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 12:38 a.m. Thursday in the 1100 block of East William Street on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery and violation of bail conditions. Bail was set at $6,132.
- A 48-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 1:27 a.m. Thursday in the 500 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor trespassing. Bail was set at $237.
- A 24-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 3:05 a.m. Thursday in the 1900 block of North Peters Street on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery and destruction of property. Bail was set at $3,764.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:
- Four generators and two outboard motors were stolen from a business in the 3600 block of Highway 50 East at 3:12 a.m.
- A window at Good Shepherd Wesleyan Church on Saliman Road was broken at 3:49 a.m.
- Report of a woman in a Ford pickup approaching a third-grader on Fire Box Road and "asking a lot of questions about where the student lived and where she went to school."
- A caller reported his neighbor had a camera pointing at the caller's house, despite a court order that prohibits such activity.
- Coroner call at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center at 11:56 a.m.
- A caller reported a small green bike was abandoned on the corner of College Parkway and Airport Road. The caller worried that it could have been the result of a child being "snatched."
- A caller reported at 11:52 p.m. that her mother-in-law spit on the her and her 10-month-old daughter, then "put them outside and locked the doors." The caller said she could see the mother-in-law inside the house ripping up the caller's things.
Lyon County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:
- Misdemeanor arrest on Dayton Valley Road of a man seen sleeping on a bridge at 2:41 a.m.
- Residential burglary report on Lakeview Drive at 2:44 a.m. in Dayton Valley.
- Report of dead dog on the side of the road with another dog running around it on Highway 50 Alternate in Fernley at 5:59 a.m.
- Report at 7:32 a.m. of a 3-year-old boy in a filthy Fernley home with a mother using heroin.
- Fernley caller reported it looked like someone had gotten into her garage crawl space and she was unsure if anyone was still in it at 8:50 a.m.
- Misdemeanor citation issued on Nicole Street in Mark Twain at 9:50 a.m.
- Coroner call on Miriam Way in Mound House at 9:51 a.m.
- Two women called for help at 6:01 p.m. after they got stuck on the south side of the river in Mark Twain. They said they were unable to make it back across the river without drowning their horses. At 6:34 p.m. the women called back and said they'd made it.
- Misdemeanor arrest on Highway 341 in Silver City at 7 p.m.
