CARSON CITY

The lunch menu for the Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Dr.:

Monday: Holiday, center closed.

Tuesday: Cabbage rolls, linguini, spring salad, grapes, whole wheat roll with margarine.

Wednesday: Sweet and sour chicken, ginger rice, Asian veggies, cherry Jell-O with pears, whole wheat bread with apple butter.

Thursday: Fish sandwich, coleslaw, carrot-raisin salad, orange juice, brownie.

Friday: Beef stir fry, white rice, beet salad, Mandarin oranges, whole wheat roll with margarine.

DAYTON

The lunch menu for the Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road:

Monday: Holiday, center closed.

Tuesday: Baked chicken, green beans, potato wedges, roll with margarine, peaches.

Wednesday:Center closed for health fair.

Thursday: Chicken noodle casserole, mixed veggies, roll with butter, peach cobbler.

Friday: Waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, Mandarin oranges, V8 and orange juice.

DOUGLAS COUNTY

The lunch menu for the Douglas County Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane:

Monday: Memorial Day. Center will be closed.

Tuesday: Grilled Bratwurst on a hot dog bun, hot German potato salad, German slaw, spiced applesauce, fresh orange sections.

Wednesday: Tuna stuffed tomato, turkey bean soup, banana nut muffin, Mandarin oranges.

Thursday: Beef Shepherds pie, broccoli salad, dinner roll, fruit cup, coconut cream pie.

Friday: Oven fried chicken, baked potato with sour cream and chives, peas and carrots, colorful salad with bread, fruited gelatin dessert.

SILVER SPRINGS

The dinner menu for the Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Ave.:

Monday: Grilled cheese sandwich, potato corn chowder, orange spinach salad, tropical fruit.

Tuesday: Hot turkey sandwich, mashed potatoes and gravy, cucumber, tomato and onion salad, blushing pears.

Wednesday: Cafe Concept. Spinach lasagna, veggie quiche, turkey veggie roll up, blackberry spinach salad, fruit salad, garlic bread, cookies.

Thursday: Philly steak sandwich, onions, peppers, broccoli, Tater Tots, peach/pineapple.

Friday: Blueberry pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs, diced pears, V-8.

STOREY COUNTY

The Storey County Senior Citizens Center is located on the corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City:

Monday: Memorial Day. Center closed.

Tuesday:Grilled chicken salad, potato leek soup, Waldorf salad.

Wednesday: Beef tip on noodles, vegetables, fruit salad.

Thursday: Roast pork Loin, mashed potatoes and gravy, applesauce.

Friday: Corned beef on rye, potato salad, pea soup.

YERINGTON

The Yerington Senior Center is at 117 Tilson Way:

Monday: Tahitian chicken, steamed rice, beet salad, pudding.

Tuesday:: Chef salad, garlic bread, pear cobbler.

Wednesday: Chili cheese stuffed baked potato, cucumber salad with tomato and onions, strawberry shortcake.

Thursday:Spaghetti, garden salad, green beans garlic break Rice Krispie Treats.

Friday: Picnic in the park. Hamburgers and hot dogs, potato salad, baked beans, cookie bars, punch.
