The Western Nevada Wildcats avoided elimination Sunday morning with a 11-0 six-inning win over Iowa Western at the Junior College World Series in Grand Junction, Colo.
David Carroll picked up the win going six innings allowing three hits. Carroll's complete game helps preserve WNC's bullpen for future games.
Eric Maupin was 2-for-3 with three runs batted in to lead to Wildcats.
Brian Barnett ws 2-for-4 with 2 RBI and Travis Feiner was 2-2 with 2 RBI.
The Wildcats had 11 hits on the day.
Western Nevada will face the winner of the Seminole State - Middle Georgia game at 10 a.m. Monday.
