The Nevada Wildcats enjoyed a successful Memorial Day weekend by winning the Red Division in the R & R Gold tournament in Modesto.
The Wildcats beat the Cordova Fury 2-0 for their third win of the day last Monday to win the 14-and-under championship.
The Wildcats played nine games in a three-day period. They went 2-1 in pool play Saturday and 1-2 in pool play Sunday.
The 14-and-under division had 36 teams entered.
The Wildcats are competing in a tournament this weekend in South Tahoe.
