Carson City Health Department's food-service inspections from Oct. 20-26 (all scores are on a 100-point scale):

• Johnny Rocket's Restaurant, 4600 Snyder Ave. #B, scored 95 points. Poisonous or toxic materials are not properly stored.

• Fremont Elementary School Cafeteria, 1511 Firebox Road, scored 100 points.

• Empire Elementary School Cafeteria, 1260 Monte Rosa St., scored 100 points.

• Seeliger Elementary School Cafeteria, 2800 Saliman Road, scored 100 points.

• Capital Christian School, 1600 Snyder Ave., scored 100 points.

• Dotty's #45 Bar/Lounge, 3305 Market St., scored 100 points.

• Club Envy Restaurant, 1500 Old Hot Springs Road, scored 100 points.

• Club Envy Bar/Lounge, 1500 Old Hot Springs Road, scored 100 points.

• Short Stop Market Restaurant, Finx Hot Dogs, 1321 N. Carson St., scored 99 points. The reach-in containing the hot dogs has no thermometer. There are no test strips available for the chlorine sanitizer (used in the wiping cloth buckets) or for the Quat sanitizer (used in the 3-C sink.)

• Butler Meats, 1909 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• Carson City Nugget Restaurant main kitchen, 507 N. Carson St., scored 95 points. Food was found stored in various containers in the meat freezer, buffet refrigerator and main walk-in refrigerator unlabeled. Food was found stored in various containers in the meat freezer, buffet refrigerator and main walk-in refrigerator without covers. The flour bin cover was not closed and a paper cup was found in the flour in the bin. Food contact surfaces of several ice machines contained accumulated debris and were not clean.

• Carson City Nugget Main Bar, 507 N. Carson St., scored 94 points. Cloths used on food-contact surfaces were stored in a bucket that did not contain detectable sanitizer residual. Food contact surfaces, rails of the ice bin contained debris. A supply of paper towels was not present at either bar or hand sink.

• Carson City Nugget Main Bar, 507 N. Carson St., scored 95 points. Both mechanical dishwashers did not have the required detectable chlorine residual after the final rinse. Food establishments which sell alcoholic beverages for consumption on premises are required to post signs concerning defects. There was no sign at the bar or the upstairs women's restroom.

• Thai Spice Kitchen Bar, 111 E. Telegraph St., scored 99 points. Cloths used on food contact surfaces are not clean, do not contain sanitizer residual or are not used properly.
