Final design plans for landscaping Phase I of the Carson City Freeway are progressing. The design consultant has been hired and the kickoff meeting is set. The design plans, specifications and contracts for Phase I will be ready for implementation in 2010.
The money to landscape Phase I comes mainly from the Federal Transportation Equity Act, H.R. 3. Now, however, additional funds specifically earmarked for highway projects which are ready to go within the next few months may be obtained by NDOT. In order to use these funds, NDOT is presenting a landscape concept plan for parts of Phase II of the Freeway. If approved, this plan or concept will impact the entire corridor by setting a theme and tone to be followed.
You have the opportunity to see this concept plan at the Regional Transportation Commission meeting at 5:30 p.m. today in the Sierra Room of the Carson City Community Center.
Please attend. This is your opportunity to view, analyze and be in on the ground floor of this important project - the landscaping of the Carson City Freeway.

I find it interesting that it is always a man that starts all this abortion stuff - Richard Ziser in this case.
As far as I'm concerned, the government should not even be involved with abortions. It is no one's business but the female's.
Men - get lost and stay out of abortion rights for women!
