Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• A 23-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Nevada and 10th streets on suspicion of misdemeanor probation violation. Bail was set at $3,000.
• A 41-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 8:01 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor disorderly conduct and obstructing an investigation. Bail was set at $644.
• An 18-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 5:26 p.m. Saturday at Mills Park on suspicion of misdemeanor disorderly conduct and minor consuming.
• A 22-year-old logging employee from Carson City was arrested at 3:51 p.m. Saturday at Telegraph and Nevada streets on suspicion of misdemeanor battery, domestic battery and disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $4,099.
• A 32-year-old laborer from Carson City was arrested at 2:54 a.m. Sunday on Highway 50 East on suspicion of drunken driving, speeding, failure to maintain single lane and driving without a valid license. Bail was set at $5,612.
• A 19-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 2:46 p.m. Sunday at Mills Park on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of suspended sentence and contempt of court. Bail was set at $1,337.
• A 23-year-old certified nursing assistant from Carson City was arrested at 5:45 p.m. Sunday in the 4300 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor petty larceny, two counts of probation violation and a count of violation of bail conditions. Bail was set at $9,347.
• A 20-year-old construction worker from Silver Springs was arrested at 9:11 p.m. Sunday at Carson and Adaline streets on suspicion of misdemeanor battery. Bail was set at $1,132. Also arrested was a 20-year-old theater employee from Dayton on the same charge. The two were allegedly in a vehicle from which the occupants yelled out "Straight Edge" and threw eggs at people entering a tobacco lounge on South Carson Street. When the car was stopped, one egg was found under the driver's seat.
• A 25-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested Saturday at East Nye Lane and Airport Road on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.
• Arthur L. Valerie, 33, a retail employee from Dayton, was arrested at 11:53 a.m. Saturday in the 500 block of East William Street on suspicion of felony uttering a forged instrument. He allegedly tried to pass a counterfeit $100 bill.
• Saul Munoz-Lopez, 20, of Carson City, was arrested at 8:04 a.m. Saturday in the 500 block of Wright Way on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving and driving without a valid license. Bail was set at $1,319.
• A 22-year-old salesperson from Carson City was arrested at 3:43 a.m. Saturday in the 400 block of South Saliman Road on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $1,132.
• Jessica R. Johnson, 31, of Carson City, was arrested at 1:27 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Allouette Way on suspicion of felony second-offense domestic battery and misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $6,132.
• A 47-year-old Carson City bartender was arrested at 7:13 p.m. Saturday at Clearview Drive and Line Street on suspicion of misdemeanor second-offense drunken driving. Bail was set at $2,500.
• A 59-year-old man was arrested at 6:10 p.m. Saturday in the 3800 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $5,000.
• David Cozby, 25, of Dillon, Colo., and Jonathan Meussel, of Silverthorne, Colo., were each arrested at 9:47 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony possession of a stolen vehicle. Meussel was also charged with possession of a dangerous weapon. According to the police report, the two men attended a party in Silverthorne, Colo., on Friday night. After the party as they walked home, they allegedly decided to steal a U-Haul truck and drive through the night to visit the Moonlite Bunnyranch brothel in Mound House. First, the report states, the men stopped at a local casino to try to buy meth. Bail for Cozby was set at $25,000. Meussel's bail was set at $27,500.
• A 44-year-old state employee from Carson City was arrested at 9:22 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of South Carson Meadows on suspicion of misdemeanor second-offense domestic battery, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $6,864.
• A 32-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 12:11 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $1,369.
• Michael James Olney, 22 of Carson City, was arrested at 1:15 p.m. Friday in the 1800 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony passing of fraudulent checks and possession of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $2,500.
• Justin Taylor Fausett, 21, unemployed of Fallon, was arrested at 8:40 p.m. Friday on College Parkway on suspicion of felony possession of heroin, two counts of possession of a prescription drug without a prescription, a misdemeanor warrant and obstructing an officer. Bail was set at $8,224.
• A 24-year-old apprentice from Fernley was arrested at 9:52 p.m. Friday in the 2300 block of Woodcrest lane on suspicion of misdemeanor destruction of property and domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,764.
• A 32-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 10:40 p.m. Friday in the 3000 block of Imperial Way on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery and probation violation. Bail was set at $4,000.
• A 21-year-old plumber from Carson City was arrested at 6 a.m. Saturday in the 3200 block of Market Street on suspicion of misdemeanor battery and petty larceny. Bail was set at $1,479.
• Tewolde Habtmicael, 62, of Carson City, was arrested at 3:45 p.m. Sunday in the 3400 block of Kathleen Drive on suspicion of felony third-offense drunken driving and misdemeanor no insurance. Bail was set at $10,732.
• Donald Lee Bigpond, 26, of Carson City, was arrested at 9:18 a.m. Sunday in the 1300 block of Como Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor second-offense domestic battery, two counts of possession of prescription drug without a prescription and violation of bail conditions. Bail was set at $13,000.
• Thomas James Thornkill, 32, of Carson City, was arrested at 4:14 a.m. Sunday in the 3200 block of Windgate Way on suspicion of gross misdemeanor child endangerment, misdemeanor domestic battery, drunken driving, driving on a suspended license. Bail was set at $7,028.
