Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 30-year-old tattooist from Carson City was arrested Wednesday in the 2800 block of Pebbleridge Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor driving on a suspended registration, driving without insurance, failure to appear on a traffic citation, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $2,833.

• A 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 10:35 p.m. Thursday in the 2100 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and a warrant. Bail was set at $4,132.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Report of counterfeit $10 and $5 bills passed at a business on East William Street at 9:16 a.m.

• A vomiting and intoxicated 14-year-old was found at Mills Park at 11:38 a.m. Police suspect it was part of a gang initiation.

• Domestic dispute report on Poole Way at 5:13 p.m.

• A shoplifter was cited at Save Mart on Highway 50 East at 7:22 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Report of a stereo stolen from a vehicle on C Street in Fernley at 6:20 a.m.

• Report of equipment stolen from a yard on Highway 341 in Silver City at 9:55 a.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Scott Drive in Fernley at 9:47 a.m.

• A vehicle drove through a fence on Six Mile Canyon Road in Mark Twain at 4:30 p.m.

• A Mark Twain father reported at 5:03 p.m. that someone stole his daughter's iPod while she was on the school bus.
