LAS VEGAS (AP) - Twelve people were hurt after an escalator malfunctioned at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
Debbie Munch, the vice president of public relations at Caesars Palace, says the incident happened around 1 p.m. Saturday.
She says the 12 injured guests were taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center and then released. All 12 were back at the hotel that night.
She did not elaborate on what went wrong or the extent of the guests' injuries.
The incident is under investigation. Munch says an escalator company was looking at the equipment.
