Obituary: Roscoe B. "Bill" Williamson,

Roscoe B. "Bill" Williamson, 88, a Carson City resident, died Nov. 10, 2009, at his home. He was born July 13, 1921, in Abernathy, Texas, to Dempsey and Madge (Abney) Williamson. Among his survivors are his wife Maxine Williamson of Carson City, daughters Kathleen Pettersson of Sweden and Carolyn Sue Harrison of Carson City, two brothers, two sisters, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren. An Elk's memorial service will be 3 p.m., Monday at the Carson City Elks Lodge. FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
