Dayna Myrehn, 3, braves the wind to help her dad, Scott, and brothers Alex, 5, and Jared, 9, hang Christmas lights Friday morning outside their East Carson City home. The winds blew in a storm that was expected to drop 3 inches of snow above 5,500 feet Friday, with another 7 inches possible overnight at the higher elevations. The storm will be accompanied by blustery wind gusting to 80 mph over the ridgetops. Winds are expected to continue today with a 50 percent chance of more snow.
