CARSON CITY

The lunch menu for the Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Dr.:

Monday: Cabbage roll on linguini, baby carrots, spiced apples, whole wheat roll with margarine

Tuesday: Salmon with cucumber sauce, scalloped potatoes, Brussel sprouts, angel food cake with strawberries

Wednesday: Rigatoni with meat, tossed salad, focaccia bread, lime Jell-O gems, red grapes

Thursday: Chicken fettuccini alfredo, mixed veggies, orange wedges, brownie

Friday: Roast beef, mashed potatoes with gravy, garden salad, apricots, whole wheat bread with margarine

DOUGLAS COUNTY

The lunch menu for the Douglas County Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane:

Monday: Beef pot pie, three-bean salad, biscuit, applesauce, Mandarin orange pie

Tuesday: Crab salad, fresh spinach, tomato, hard-boiled egg, dinner roll, grapes

Wednesday: Meat loaf, marinated tomatoes, mashed potatoes and gravy, creamed peas, banana cream pie

Thursday: Baked cod Cajun style, creamed corn, parsley-butter potatoes, fresh spinach, grain bread, apple spice cake

Friday: Grilled bratwurst on bun, hot German potato salad, German slaw, spiced applesauce, fresh orange sections

DAYTON

The lunch menu for the Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road.

Monday: Lemon pepper fish, baked potato, steamed carrots, beet salad, roll, melon

Tuesday: Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, spinach, roll, pineapple, cake

Wednesday: Shepherd's pie, spinach salad, apricot/bran muffin, margarine, banana

Thursday: Hot turkey sandwich, mashed potatoes, gravy, carrots, bread, peaches and sherbet

Friday: Waffles/syrup, scrambled eggs, ham, grapes, V8, orange juice

STOREY COUNTY

The Storey County Senior Citizens Center is located on the corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City:

Monday: Barbecued chicken, taters, veggies, salad, dessert

Tuesday: Beef enchilada, rice, beans, dessert

Wednesday: Baked chicken, scalloped potatoes, veggies, dessert

Thursday: Beef stew, bread sticks, cake

Friday: Barbecued brisket, baked beans, veggies, dessert
