RPEN elects president

Hal Keaton of Pioche has been elected state president of the Retired Public Employees of Nevada.

Keaton is a retired Gaming Control Board enforcement officer who also served as Lincoln County sheriff and on the Lincoln County Commission.

Nancy Hollinger, a veteran Washoe County schoolteacher, was named president elect, Jimmy Green of Las Vegas treasurer and Sharon Williams of Las Vegas secretary.

RPEN has more than 9,300 members.
