Young man rides cross-country for ALS
Andy Samuelsen, whose mother lives in Carson City, was expected to ride his bike into Times Square sometime Friday after a cross-country trip that started Aug. 2 in Petaluma, Calif.
"This is significant because Andy made this trip to see the country and experience the adventure. However, his primary focus was to raise awareness and funds for those individuals and their families inflicted with ALS, better known as Lou Gehrig's Disease," said his mother Donna Ramatici-Samuelsen.
