Western Nevadans are invited to discuss how to attain spiritual freedom at a worship service in Carson City today.
The session, "What Would You Give For Complete Freedom?", begins at 10 a.m. at the Carson City Community Center atRoop and Williams Street.
Sponsored by ECKANKAR, Religion of the Light and Sound of God, a skilled facilitator will give a brief talk, followed by readings, a small-group discussion and a short contemplation.

Unity at the Lake is hosting its Harvesting Our Dreams Fundraiser from 5:30-9:30 p.m. Oct. 23 in the Harveys Resort Casino convention center.
Greg Tamblyn will entertain the crowd with music and humor, and the event includes a dinner party, silent auction and more.
Tickets are $33 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under. Ten percent of the proceeds will benefit the Tahoe Women's Center.
