Girl Scout troops 333 and 33 spent the day Saturday at Fritsch Elementary School working to improve the playground. The girls spent hours sweeping the yards, picking up trash and repainting the school grounds.

"I can't wait till the kids come back to school on Monday and see all the work we did," said Girl Scout Brownie Ansley Talafous.

"I know that this painting of the shapes and games will give the students something to play on and it will make them smile," said Girl Scout Daisy Kayla Bauer.

"This has been so much fun helping to give back to the community," said Girl Scout Brownie Shiloh Cyphers.

The girls of Troop 333 came up with this service project when they where asked to do a community service project for the year and they decided to help at their own school. Then the girls invited sister Troop 33 to join in.

This project was a great way for the girls to give back and show that Girl Scouts are making a big difference in their community and inspire other girls to join the cause to make a difference, thus inspiring themselves.
